On May 20th, OLT will perform at the B-Connected Festival in Addis Ababa (see below). The show OLT will perform is called One Love Theater's "Life Circus". Here is the write-up...
"Building on the traditional Ethiopian circus format, One Love Theater's "Life Circus" aims to take the genre to the next level. Incorporating dance, gymnastics, music, drama and multimedia, as well as traditional circus, the 30-minute show provides a unique glimpse into Ethiopia's vibrant youth culture. The performance is designed for large audiences (2,000+) relying heavily upon theatrical gymnastics and physical drama, as opposed to dialouge, to tell the story of everyday life for two Ethiopian youth. Themes touched upon in the show include HIV/AIDS, street life and growing up in Ethiopia."
