Lots going on these days and some BIG news in the works.  First, apologies for the momentary lapse of BLOG.  Second, today marks the start of the AYC 3 on 3 basketball tournament, the first in Awassa (and probably Ethiopia!).  All in all there are 28 teams, and 22 of them played today (22 boys/6 girls).  Tommorow (Saturday) we will have the semi-finals in the morning and the finals in the evening.   We couldn't have expected the audience turn-out...at one point I looked up and saw what must have been over 400 kids, music playing in the background and 2 games in progress....couldn't really ask for more.  Here is a glimpse of today's events (much more tommorow)...



...also at today's event we passed out over 100 flyers that introduce the new AYC/One Love awareness campaign...monday there will be much more on the new awareness campaign...for now here is a sneek preview at the campaign via the new flyer (please note, the blank white square is for Amharic)....
