Greetings from AYC.
It seems as though there is a lot of craziness going on in the World these days so today just figured we throw a couple pictures of AYC happenings...like a donkey pulling a bunch of sticks....
Actually, the sticks this helpful donkey brought us are for constructing the the AYC Open-Studio. Open-Sudio will be an art studio open to youth artists in the community, we will provide the space and materials (i.e. paints, canvas) and the artists can create here. Youth Artists will be able to use AYC as a public gallery of sorts (work will also be availible for purchase, all proceeds going to the artists), and we will also post artwork right here on the BLOG for ya'll to see! Moving on from donkeys pulling sticks we turn to the most vicious dog on the planet, (AYC guard dog and newest member of AYC non-human family) Shizzo...
From shizzo (yes, like snoop-dog says)...we move to on to wednesday drum class....in general there needs to be more of this going on in the World today..."Drums for Guns" program Anyone?!
