Today, we begin a new feature on the BLOG called AYC voices.  Basically, on occasion we will post responses of children/youth to general questions/comments.  For example, today I asked some of the youth at AYC what their thoughts were on the World today, here is some of what they said (mind you that responses were more eloquent in Amharic)....

- "The World is Round." 
 
-" The World is Bad.  Some rich, some poor.  Everyone Should be Equal."  

-" The World Exploded." 

- "If you do good, the World gives you bad." 

- "In the future everyone must be equal."

- "African states should follow the example of the European Union and unite."  

- "To live, eat.  But do not live to eat.  (Ethiopian proverb)."  

- "Nothing."  

If any BLOG readers have some in particular they would like to ask AYC youth please write us and let us know for the next installment of AYC voices.   However, please don't get to thinking AYC was all debate today, there was also plenty of moving an shaking, for example these guys are warming up for their afternoon aikido class...



and...this kid, well let's just say he is one of those kids that makes AYC all worthwhile...
