Whats up Folk?  Hope wellness is finding you all well.

Unfortunately we are short of a digital camera these days so no quasi-real time pics though.  However, we will definitely get our hands on soon because in the next two weeks OLT has 4 shows!  For the time being here is a photo taken at OLT's "Our World" performance and more art work from last years AYC art exhibition....

This "Our World" photo captures one of the 3 monolouges in the performance, this one happens to be by Ulbe (OLT trainer).  If you notice the backdrop is the one of last weeks Blogs...please note this photo looked even cooler live, if that makes sense...



Up next, is of of the top finalists in the under 17 category of last year's AYC art Exhibition.  The artist happens to be Sadiya Ashebir whom also resides at the Awassa Childrens Center.  This particular piece shows some of the root-causes and impacts of the HIV/AIDS pandemic in Ethiopia.  It's funny, today I saw three brand new trucks in a gas station parking lot, each with a big shiny logo saying something about an "Ethiopian HIV/AIDS art initiative", despite the flashiness and mention of the work "art" none of them moved me quite as much as Saydia's work did...
