It is official! The BLOG is back in action! Due to various technical and logistical issues in conjunction with the beautiful craziness of life the BLOG has been dormant for some time now. HOWEVER, I am pleased to inform you that things have not been slow for our heroes, One Love Theater, or here at the Awassa Youth Campus for that matter. On the contrary, with the upcoming Ethiopian millenium and rapidly approaching school year things are a bustle to say the least. One Love Theater has over 5 shows in the next couple of weeks! As for AYC, Lots of going, actually, today over 150 children and youth visited us to participate or just visit!!! There was 3 aikido classes, art, basketball, One Love Theater training, several kids gymnastics, etc. Unfortunately, we are still unable to provide any fresh-fresh pics, though we do have some from the recent and unseen vault..ooooh....

In August, there were 3 AYC-related fundraising events in 3 seperate U.S states! Hopefully, you caught the one nearest you, if not, you can always help out on-line while your're reading the BLOG. Folks, change can, and does, happen in this world, now easier than ever. The first couple of pictures are from the event held in Nederland, Colorado at the Shining Star Cafe (www.shiningstarcafe.com), big thanks to shan and nathaniel. The following is a snap of the "travelling" AYC display that made it to two of the events...notice the BLOG access ...

And back on the home front things were right on track. Our friends here were kicking around a soccer ball then suddenly struck a pose somewhere between karate and just plain bad ass when then camera showed up...

The next gem is straight from the ever-expanding One Love studio, did we mention One Love Theater peformances are done with a live band, yes, that is as cool as it sounds...here are the usual suspects...
