gOoD pEoPlE...
First, we apologize for the brief lack of BLOG, it is "DV" (Diversity Visa for USA) time here in Ethiopia, so, the Interent connection is especially overburdened these days. Since the last post much has happened, let's see...Beyonce Knowles held a concert in Addis Ababa, hopefully, she sets an example for other International artists, something along the lines of "it's OK to perform in Africa". Of course there is always a catch with such an event, namely she was reportedly paid $1,000,000. Insert your own jokes, comments, etc. More importantly, over the course of the last week over 150 youth signed up at AYC back-to-school (these were all over 14 years old, those under 14 do not receive cards though are welcome to participate until AYC activities until 4 p.m.). With the increasing number of youth we are having to come up with more and more activities, understandably, we thought of mini golf, no really. Once again, insert your own jokes, comments, etc. Actually, we had a putter and a golf ball lying around so we figured why not, it is different, constructive and fun...good enough for us. Take a look...
